Final Stats

Irvine, Calif. - Loyola Marymount Women's Tennis (8-10) played their last away match of the season this Sunday in Irvine, California. The Lions took on the UC Irvine Anteaters for a non-conference match up. LMU fell behind early and lost the match 7-0.

It all started with the doubles round. LMU lost the doubles point 3-0. Tina Razolznik and Shauna Morgan were the closest to capturing a victory for LMU. Razloznik and Morgan lost the No. 3 doubles position 8-6.

Things did not get better in the singles round. LMU lost all six singles matches in straight sets. Razloznik lost the No. 1 position 6-1, 6-2. Jasmin Heckel fell in the No. 2 spot 6-4, 6-2. Elisaveta Pironkova lost her fifth match of the season, her second in the No. 3 position, 6-1, 6-2. Jane Pringle fell in the No. 4 position 6-4, 6-1. Shauna Morgan lost the No. 5 match 6-2, 6-2 and Estelle LaPorte dropped the final match 6-2, 6-2.

Loyola Marymount Women's Tennis returns home this week for their final match of the season. LMU host No. 52 Long Beach State at LMU Tennis Center on Thursday. Match time is 1:30 p.m.
