LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The LMU women's volleyball team went undefeated at its final Spring Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, this one hosted by USC. The Lions squared-off against four teams over the course of the day, including UNLV, UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside and Fresno State. Although they did not play every team to determine a Tournament Champion, LMU went undefeated at 8-0.

The Lions, who played each team twice, finished 2-0 against each of its competitors. In all over the course of the spring season, LMU won two tournament championships and finished Saturday's contests with a perfect record. The Lions compiled a 20-4 overall record during the spring, taking the Cal State Northridge tournament with a 6-2 record by finishing 2-0 against CSUN and Long Beach State, and 1-1 against Washington State and USC. The Lions then went 6-2 at the UC Santa Barbara Tournament, going 2-0 against Cal Poly and Cal State Fullerton, and 1-1 against UCSB and Pepperdine to earn a share of the championship with the Waves.
