San Bruno, Calif. - The honors keep rolling in for women's tennis players Pavla Mesterova and Robyn Baker. The Loyola Marymount doubles pair was named the women's tennis duo of the month by the West Coast Conference Wednesday.

Mesterova and Baker, currently ranked 49th in the nation in doubles, were just honored with a first-team All-WCC selection Tuesday.

The duo went 4-2 during April, including a victory over San Diego's 36th ranked pair of Emma Murphy and Lauren Perl in the WCC semifinals.

Mesterova and Baker also topped Fresno State's then-sixth-ranked duo 8-4 on the road earlier in the month.

The pair's play during April led the Lions to the WCC Championship Finals for the third time in six seasons. Third-seeded LMU took home a second place finish.

The monthly selection is the second for the Lions this 2006 season, as Mesterova was the WCC Singles Player of the Month for her play in February.
