Los Angeles, CA (July 16) -- Loyola Marymount University Athletics will host USA Baseball, managed by LMU Head Baseball Coach Frank Cruz for a team luncheon as the team travels from North Carolina to Taipei, Taiwan. The team has a brief layover in Los Angeles and will attend a lunch with a variety of local coaches and baseball icons, including Tommy Lasorda.

The Red, White and Blue will finish a four-game series against Chinese Taipei in Durham, N.C. (July 15-18) at Durham Bulls Athletic Park before heading to the FISU II World University Games held July 22-Aug. 1 in Tainan, Taiwan. Team USA will stop in Los Angeles in between flights from North Carolina and Taiwan.

The lunch will be held at The Hill on the campus of Loyola Marymount and will begin at 1:30 p.m. Lasorda will address the team and wish them luck on their way to the World University Games.
