Los Angeles, CA (Feb. 16) - The Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team will continue its play in one of the toughest schedules in the nation as they take on a pair of ranked powers this weekend.
The Lions will start the week with 29th-ranked San Diego State on the road Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. They will then return home to take on top-ranked Stanford at the Manhattan Country Club this Friday, Feb. 20 at 12:00 p.m. The game time and location has changed due to construction on the LMU Tennis Courts.
The other two matches scheduled in February for the Lions, a Feb. 25 match against UC Irvine and a Feb. 27 match against Cal State Fullerton have been moved to El Segundo Tennis Center. The matches in March have all been moved to the Home Depot Center.
The Lions are coming off their first dual match win of the season when they defeated the defending Atlantic-10 Conference Champions, Temple, on Sunday, 5-2.
