Aggers Unplugged Begins Tour

June 18, 2003

Los Angeles, CA (June 18) -- The first session of this summer's Aggers Unplugged, featuring Loyola Marymount University men's basketball head coach Steve Aggers, drew more than 40 fans to Tony P's Dockside Grill on Tuesday. The tour will continue with a pair of visits on Thursday.

The informal gathering brings Aggers to LMU fans to talk about the LMU Men's Basketball program and the progress toward building a championship program that will represent LMU in a positive fashion.

"We have arranged a series of four summer events, during the month of June that we are calling Aggers Unplugged - Roundball Review," said Aggers. "I hope that you will be able to attend one of the following four events for some informal talk, fellowship and discussions about the state of LMU men's basketball, LMU, the West Coast Conference and hoops in general."

The remaining events will be held:

Thursday, June 19 - 12:00 to 1:30pm - Loyola Law School - Banan Room in Burns Bldg (Complimentary soft drinks and sandwiches provided)
Thursday, June 19 - 5:30 to 7:30pm - Long Beach - Cirivello's on Viking Way
Monday, June 30 - 5:30 to 7:30pm -San Jose - Tied House Restaurant
*We will furnish the Hors d'oeuvres and provide a cash bar at all locations except lunch at the Loyola Law School on June 19.

"I believe it is important that we connect with and reach out to our fans, donors, alumni, faculty and staff, and friends of LMU," Aggers said. "I think it is also important to leave campus and go to our constituents to tell our story. Furthermore, I believe in the stewardship of these important relationships."
