Lions Fall to Nevada in Swim Dual

Los Angeles, Calif. - Loyola Marymount's Jenna Cruzat claimed the 200-yard individual medley in 2:16.04 during the Lions' dual with Nevada, Monday afternoon at the Burns Aquatics Complex, as the Wolfpack won 124-48. The Lions drop to 0-6 on the season as Nevada won 10 of the 11 events.

To go along with her 200 IM victory, Cruzat placed third in the 100-yard backstroke swimming a 1:03.37, behind Nevada's Leticia Cuhna (1:01.62) and Amy Murphy (1:02.47). The Wolfpack's Alyssa Chin was the meet's only double-event winner claiming both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.09) and the 50-yard freestyle (24.86).

The Lions return to action on Wednesday when they host Cal State Northridge at the Burns Aquatics Complex at 12 p.m.
