AT LMU 2007... a WCC All-Freshman selection and named All-WCC honorable mention after playing in all 108 games for the Lions... garnered All-Tournament honors after a stellar performance at the LMU Four Points Sheraton LAX Classic... dished-up 1,318 assists to the tune of a 12.20 assists/game mark, good for third in the WCC and first amongst her freshmen counterparts... amassed a season-high 74 assists, 16 digs and two aces against Oregon State on September 14... recorded a season-best 10 kills against UNLV on September 1, connecting at a season-high .625 clip... collected 11 double-doubles on the year...

HIGH SCHOOL a 2007 graduate of Elsinore High School in Wildomar, Calif... was a 2006 first-team All-CIF selection for CIF finalist Elsinore High School... also a three-time All-Inland Empire honoree... was twice named to the San Bernardino County All-Area team... was a four-time All-Sunbelt League selection, earning MVP honors as a senior... coached by Kimarie Horton...

PERSONAL Renee Michelle Horton was born March 22, 1989, in Fallbrook, Calif... daughter of Kim and Michael Horton... both parents were student-athletes at New Mexico... mother played volleyball, while father played lacrosse... has an older brother, Ryan, and a twin brother, Randan... was also recruited by San Diego, Cal, LSU, North Carolina, and Duke... a liberal studies major.
