IN 2014-15 · FRESHMAN... played in 15 games on the season, making a start against Pacific (1/31/15)... finished the season averaging 1.7 points per game, hitting 6-for-16 from three (37.0 percent)... averaged 7.3 minutes per game... scored eight points in 11 minutes against BYU (2/7/15)... missed games due to injury at the start of conference.

BEFORE LMU... Spiers played in the Australian National U20 Championships, helping Queensland to a silver medal. In the championship game, Spiers finished with nine points and three assists while playing 27 minutes. For the tournament, he played six games and averaged 10.3 points, and 4.7 rebounds per contest... played in the U14 Boys' Division I Classics in 2009, the U16 Boys' Division I State Championships in 2010 and 2011, the Townsville U18 Boys' Division I Championships in 2011 and 2012, and the U18 Boys' Division I State Championships in 2012... In addition to playing for the national program, Spiers played with the Townsville Heat and was part of the Cannons Basketball Club, Inc., in Townsville. He was recognized early on in his childhood as a standout athlete, earning the Queensland School Sport Foundation's Future State Great award in 2008 in basketball and golf.
