LOS ANGELES — The LMU Lions Men's Basketball team is thrilled to announce a pair of 2026 exhibition games. Fans can look forward to the Lions taking on some tough opponents right here at Gersten Pavilion.

The exhibition season kicks off on October 16, when the Lions face off against the Cal Golden Bears. Known for their strong presence in the ACC, Cal promises to bring fierce competition and an electric atmosphere to the home court. This matchup sets the tone for a season full of excitement and high-level basketball.

Just a week later, on October 25, the Lions will welcome UC Santa Barbara to Gersten Pavilion during Family Weekend. This game offers a fantastic opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the thrills of college basketball. UC Santa Barbara, a future West Coast Conference foe, is sure to present a formidable challenge, making this an event not to be missed.

The Lions are looking to continue to bring high-profile teams to Gersten Pavilion, following the success of the USC exhibition in 2025.

2026-27 Season Ticket Packages

LMU faculty and staff can purchase discounted reserved chairback season tickets for only $189. LMU students receive free admission to all regular-season men's basketball home games, as well as all LMU Athletics home events, with a valid OneCard.
