LOS ANGELES – LMU has announced the signing of Abdoul Bare out of St. Joseph High School (Lakewood, Calif.). Bare will enter as a freshman ahead of the 2026-27 season.
 
The Santa Maria, Calif., native will bring height as a rim protector to the LMU lineup. A shot blocking presence and a long defender, Bare will make defenders second guess entering the paint against the Lions.
 
While playing for St. Joseph High School, Bare was named to the Mountain League First Team as a senior.
 
Bare joins JJ Harris, a fall signee, as the second freshman to the class. Head Coach Stan has also added seven college transfers to the roster already this spring as well.
