SANTA MONICA, Calif. – LMU Beach Volleyball continued their West Coast Conference dominance with a pair of wins on Saturday to extend the program's school record with seven-consecutive conference tournament titles.
 
The Lions defeated Pepperdine, 3-0, in the morning dual to advance to the championship dual for a rematch against last year's finalist, Santa Clara. The two sides split Courts 4 and 5 in the opening wave to set up a best-of-three situation for the title on Courts 1, 2, and 3. The Lions won all three first sets of that second wave and then had dual point on two different courts before the all-time winningest player in school history, Chloe Hooker, put down a kill to secure the crown for the Lions.
 
With LMU's West Coast Conference Title comes the automatic bid into the NCAA Championships. The #7 nationally ranked Lions will learn their first round matchup on Sunday morning with the 10:00 AM NCAA Tournament selection show on NCAA.com.
