LOS ANGELES - The West Coast Conference has named Ellie Davis and Katie McAlister WCC Pair of the Year for the second time this season.

LMU's pair of Ellie Davis and Katie McAlister went unbeaten in the highly competitive East Meets West Invitational this weekend. The duo picked up three wins against top-12 teams and did not drop a set across four matches. The pair was dominant against FIU, winning 21-12, 21-11 to open the tournament before earning a dual point against #5 Texas with a 21-14, 21-16 win over the Longhorns. On Saturday morning, the team pulled out a gutsy first set win with a 27-25, 21-17 victory over #12 LSU. The duo then helped lift LMU to a dual victory over #8 Arizona State by earning the statement 21-14, 21-15 win over the Sun Devils.

The duo won earlier this month as well, being named WCC Pair of the Week on March 2.

The Lions will be home on Friday afternoon to host Concordia on the LMU Beach Volleyball Courts. The dual will begin at 12:00 PM.
