LOS ANGELES – The 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Bracket is set. The LMU Lions have been awarded the #4 seed and will face #13 Florida Atlantic in the first dual of the championships on Friday morning. The match is scheduled to open the event at 8:00 AM CT / 6:00 AM PT.
The Lions and Owls did not face one another this season, but LMU does hold the all-time series record with four wins and no losses. The two programs last met in 2024, with LMU winning 4-1.
The Lions have advanced in each of the last four NCAA Championships and hold a 7-6 winning record all-time in Gulf Shores.
16 teams were selected for this year's tournament, with eight automatic bids and eight at-large bids. The Lions received the West Coast Conference's automatic bid after winning the WCC Tournament on Friday.
Every match will stream live on ESPN2, except for the national championship, which will air on ESPN.

2025 NC beach volleyball championship format
The 2025 NC beach volleyball championship bracket will consist of 16 teams, with eight making it as automatic qualifiers via conference championships. The selected teams will be seeded Nos. 1-16 in the bracket.
The championship will then be played in single-elimination duals with 10 student-athletes split into five pairs from each team. The dual meet match is formatted in five best-of-three sets, pairs matches, with each pairs match being worth one point.
