LOS ANGELES – For the 10^th time this season, #4 LMU Beach Volleyball defeated a top 10 opponent with the 4-1 win over #10 Long Beach State. The Lions followed with a 5-0 sweep over Cal State Bakersfield.
 
LMU has beaten The Beach in seven of the last 10 meetings, but this is the first time in program history that the Lions have won on more than three courts in a dual against LBSU.
 
The Lions will return to the LMU Beach Volleyball Courts for one final day this season with Saturday's end of the regular season. LMU will host Utah at 9:00 AM before playing CSUN at 1:00 PM. The Lions will recognize the members of the senior class following the conclusion of the morning dual against the Utes. This year's seniors include #2 Isabelle Reffell, #3 Michelle Shaffer, #7 Abbey Thorup, #18 Giuliana Polleti Corrales, and #25 Lisa Luini.
