SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – For the second time this season, #4 LMU Beach Volleyball has knocked off the number one ranked team in the country. After coming up just short in a 3-2 defeat to the #2-ranked UCLA Bruins, the Lions responded with a 3-2 win of their own over #1 TCU in the second game of the afternoon.
 
LMU also topped then-top ranked USC on opening day of this season, and have now done it again with the win over TCU. This is the second win in as many tries for LMU over the Horned Frogs this season.
 
The Center of Effort Challenge continues on Saturday with the Lions playing #12 Arizona State at 9:00 AM. They will then await results to learn the afternoon opponent.
