LONG BEACH, Calif. – The #2 LMU beach volleyball team has won nine duals in a row after sweeping Mercer, 5-0, an defeated #8 Long Beach State, 3-2, to close out the weekend.
 
The win over Long Beach State is LMU's fifth win this season over a top-10 opponents. The Beach won the first point before LMU clinched the dual with wins on Pairs 2, 3, and 4.
 
The Lions will next compete in the highly competitive East Meets West Invitational on Friday the 14^th and Saturday the 15^th at the Manhattan Beach Pier.
