SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – #3 LMU Beach Volleyball played four West Coast Conference schools this weekend in an event in Santa Cruz, Calif. The conference-wide two-day tournament ran Friday and Saturday at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
 
Pool play took place on Friday, March 28, starting with LMU vs. Pacific at 9 a.m. in Pool 1 followed by Pepperdine battling Portland at 10 a.m. in Pool 2. Santa Clara took on San Francisco at 11 a.m. in the second Pool 1 matchup. The other two Pool 2 preliminary matches featured Saint Mary's vs. Portland at noon and Pepperdine vs. Saint Mary's at 2 p.m. The Pool 1 winners faced off at 1 p.m. while the two losing teams will play at 3 p.m. The top two finishers in each pool advance to Saturday's Gold Bracket. Saturday featured tournament play with a Gold Bracket and a Silver Bracket.
