MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – After finishing 2-2 in the highly competitive East Meets West Invitational over the last three years, #2 LMU Beach Volleyball won all four matches against ranked teams from the east these last two days. After defeating the #11 and #12 ranked teams on Friday, the Lions swept #19 Florida International on Saturday morning before taking down #8 Florida State, 4-1, in the final dual of the day.

The Lions will next travel to the Austin, Texas version of the event and face off against three of the same four teams next weekend, with matchups against FIU, Georgia State, LSU, and Texas on the schedule.
