Honolulu, HI – For the fifth time in program history, LMU beach volleyball has taken down UCLA. The fifth-ranked Lions defeated #2 UCLA in Saturday's second game of the OUTRIGGER Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic, 3-2, for the program's highest-ranked win since beating the then-top-ranked Bruins in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. 
 
In the first game of day, LMU dropped a 4-1 contest defending National Champions and prefeason favorite, USC.
