LOS ANGELES – The West Coast Conference has released their annual all-academic team for the 2021-2022. Five men's runners and six women's runners were named honorable mentions from the Lions cross country team.
 
Miguel Barrera-Lopez, Ethan Frisone, Nolan Getchell, Tiras Pie and Roberto Ruelas were named from the men's side.
 
Avery Doan, Claire Graves, Maya Kalach, Shelby Page, Lilly Schmidt and Marina Soares received honors from the women's side.
 
To be nominated for the all-academic team, athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA, be a starter or important reserve, hold a sophomore standing, and participate in at least 50 per cent of the team's athletic contests.
