SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Top-seeded LMU advanced in the West Coast Conference Championships on Friday with a 5-0 win over Santa Clara.

All five courts went in favor of the Lions who won all 10 sets played.

3. Vilhelmiina Prihti/Macy Gordon (LMU) def. Alexia Inman/Claire Doud (SCU) 21-15, 21-17

4. Selina Marolf/Abbey Thorup (LMU) def. Sophia Tulino/Casey Campbell (SCU) 21-6, 21-12

5. Jacinda Ramirez/Isabelle Reffel (LMU) def. Jordan Bennett/Alexia Gallegos (SCU) 21-15, 21-10

The Lions will return on Saturday morning with a 10:30 AM semifinal matchup against the two-seed Pepperdine. The Wave advanced with a 3-2 win over Saint Mary's on Friday.

The winner will advance to the final at 1:30 PM with the loser moving in the elimination game at 12:00 noon. All matches will be played from the Ocean Park Beach courts in Santa Monica.
