LOS ANGELES- The No. 27 ranked Loyola Marymount University women's tennis team (14-2) defeated the BYU Cougars, 4-1, Saturday afternoon to continue their win streak in the WCC.

The Lions started off strong in doubles again, as duo's Veronika Miroshnichenko/Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik and Eva Marie Voracek/Ulyana Shirokova earned victories at positions 2 and 3.
 
The Lions were able to gain even more leverage in singles, winning on courts 1 and 6 immediately, as No. 78 ranked Veronika Miroschnichenko and Ulyana Shirokova dominated their positions as usual. After falling short on court 3 due to Wiktoria Rutkowska developing an injury, the Lions finished the game on court 2 as Eva Marie Voracek won a tight one to clinch the game winning point.

The No. 27 ranked Lions are now on a six-game winning streak with five straight conference wins.
