SANTA CRUZ- The Loyola Marymount No. 5 ranked women's beach volleyball team (14-1) swept the Portland Pilots, 5-0, in the first round of the WCC Mid-Season Invitational, then completed the sweep on the day with a, 5-0, victory of the Santa Clara Bronco to advance to the gold bracket.
