LOS ANGELES- The No. 4 ranked Loyola Marymount University beach volleyball team will kick-off their season off at home on Friday, Feb. 25 against the CSUN Matadors at 10:00 a.m. PST, and the No. 11 ranked California Bears at 2:00 p.m. PST.
 
The Lions are coming off an excellent season as they were crowned West Coast Conference Champions and went on a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
 
LMU's went 31-8 overall, and 9-0 in the conference, defeating #9 LBSU twice and #11 Pepperdine twice. They even defeated #2 UCLA in the NCAA Tournament to advance to the semi-finals round.  

Players to watch are Reka Orsi Toth, Selina Marlof, Megan Rice, and Madie Firnett, who all made a huge impact for the Lions last season on their championship run.

Both teams will begin their 2022 season this weekend as well.
