MALIBU, Calif. - The LMU women's soccer team fell to Pepperdine 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Malibu, Calif.
Amanda Delgado recorded four saves in just over 85 minutes of play before being relieved by Sadie Kenny in her first appearance of the season.
Ellen Loncar had the best chance of the afternoon for the Lions in the 51st minute. Jessie Halladay received the ball in midfield and drew the defenders in to play a weighted ball to Loncar. Loncar used a chop to get by the nearest defender in the box before collecting and shooting. The shot went wide for a goal kick.
The Lions took three shots in the match.
LMU will play at Pacific on November 2 at 7 p.m. before returning home to face BYU on November 5 for our senior celebration.
