LOS ANGELES – The LMU men's soccer team fell to the visiting San Diego Toreros 4-0 on Wednesday night at Sullivan Field.
The Toreros scored once before the half and three times after to mark the final tally.
Adam Davie hit the left post in the first half and headed the ball into the crossbar in the second half, coming inches away from adding to his scoring total.
Anthony Wilson also made an impact off the bench, showing width on the left wing and firing a shot on target that was parried by the Torero keeper.
Derek Goodman continued to showcase his skillful touch and impressive dribbling ability on the right side.
The Lions registered 16 shots with six on target. Wilson and Steven Anderson both had a pair of shots on target.
The Lions play at Santa Clara on Saturday, October 29 in their next match.
