Lions Finish Third in Lodi

LODI, Calif. - Freshman Hayden Washington continued her impressive start to the season with a 12th place finish in the Pacific Collegiate Invite on Friday night in Lodi, Calif.

Washington competed in her third race for the Lions and just missed out on a third straight top ten finish, placing 11th with a time of 22:32.1.

Teammate Samantha Barajas was the top finisher for LMU, finishing tenth with a time of

Lauren Wagner, Shelby Page and Avery Doan finished up the scoring finishers for the Lions.

The Lions finished in third place out of 12 teams. Of the West Coast Conference teams competing, the Lions finished second, a good indication with the WCC Championships looming.

Next up is the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational on Oct. 15 in Santa Clara, Calif.
