Box Score LOS ANGELES -- The Loyola Marymount University men's tennis team played an intense match with the Utah Utes on Sunday, losing a tight one 3-4.
 
The Lions made a run in doubles with Thien Nguyen and Emin Torlic winning on Court 3 with a score of 6-3, after the Utes already took Court 1.
 
Manoel De Alencar and Rana-Roop Bhullar fought hard until the end on Court 2 but couldn't finish the job, losing 6-4 to the Utes giving them the 1-0 advantage after doubles.
 
Lions picked up the pace as Emin Torlic took Court 5 in Singles to tie the match 1-1. After losing Court 3, a Court 6 win by Austin Di Giulio tied the match up again 2-2.
 
Utes were able to keep their position, as they won Court 2 before losing Court 4 to LMU's Arthur Pantino.
 
This left the court 1 battle to Rana-Roop Bhullar as he lost the first match, but started coming back on the second one but couldn't hang on in the end losing 7-6, 6-4.
