BRIDGEPORT, Penn. - The 2021 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Women's All-America Team was announced on Thursday, with LMU's
Alena Sanchez named to the Honorable Mention Team following a First Team All-GCC season.
The LMU senior finished tied for eighth in the GCC with 24 points in conference play and 3.4 points per game. Sanchez finished her season as the team leader with 10 assists and 16 drawn exclusions and tied for the team-high with 24 points.
LMU women's water polo has a rich history with All-American selections, as Sanchez becomes the 46
thselection in program history.
