LOS ANGELES – LMU and San Francisco Played two very different halves in Saturday's final game at Sullivan Field. The Lions (1-6-1, 1-6-0 WCC) scored two goals after intermission, with the Dons (3-4-2, 2-4-1 WCC) scoring three, to take the game 3-2.

The game started with a scoreless opening 45 minutes. Kendyl Humphreys made five of her game-high seven saves in the opening period to keep San Francisco out of the net.Â

The Lions earned three corner kicks in the first half, with four more to follow after intermission. Both teams finished with seven corner kicks apiece.

th minute,
Bella Beltran found
Sarai Zedingil to unlock the scoring and push the Lions on top, 1-0.

San Francisco found the equalizer two minutes later from a goal off the foot of Marie Marlow.

That same minute, following the ensuing kickoff,
Skylar Robledo stole the ball off of the foot of a USF defender and quickly turned it into a scoring opportunity and found the back of the net.

San Francisco's Marissa Vasquez would go on to score goals in the 79
th and 86
th minute to turn the tables.

The game began with a recognition of LMU's lone senior
Simone Handy. The team warmed up in pink to support the fight against breast cancer. LMU wore pink socks on the field in-game as well.
