LOS ANGELES – LMU women's volleyball and Santa Clara played four sets on Thursday night, with three games being decided by two points. The Lions lost, 3-1 (25-23, 28-26, 19-25, 26-24), taking the only set decided by more than two points.

The Lions were carried by 16 kills from
Audrey Klemp, as well as 15 from
Megan Rice and 13 from
Rose Booth.
Isabella Bareford accounted for 45 of the 53 LMU assists in the match.

LMU hit .289 in the game, despite closing out the final set with a .412 hitting percentage.

Two more games await the Lions as LMU hosts San Francisco on Saturday, then close out the season on Tuesday against Portland.
Prior to Tuesday's game, LMU will recognize the five members of the senior class.
