SAN FRANCISCO – Outside of an opening minute goal, the LMU and San Francisco women's soccer teams played over 89 and a half minutes without a change in the score line. San Francisco's goal 26 seconds into the match determined the outcome, with the Dons taking the game 1-0.

San Francisco took the game's opening shot, resulting in a goal and the early 1-0 lead in the first minute.

Despite being outshot 6-1 in the opening 45 minutes, LMU kept USF from adding more before halftime.

The Lions and Dons had a much more even shot breakdown in the second half with each team taking three shots apiece. San Francisco did receive six of the game's seven corner kicks.
