LOS ANGELES – The LMU women's soccer team was unable to find a goal for the fifth-straight game, falling to Saint Mary's, 1-0, on Wednesday night at Sullivan Field.
 
LMU came out with an emphasis on attacking, recording four shots, and earning two corner kicks within the first five minutes of play.
 
Despite the fast start, Saint Mary's scored the game's first goal on a shot that pinballed off a few defenders and rolled into the back of the net. The Gaels took the 1-0 lead in the 28^th minute.
 
The two teams finished with 11 shots each, with LMU holding the 5-4 advantage after halftime.

Sadie Kenny earned her first start of the season, making her first three saves of the season.
 
LMU will continue conference play on Saturday at BYU.
