LOS ANGELES – The Loyola Marymount University beach volleyball team will host its first tournament of the season this Sunday, as the team will host three teams at Ocean Park Courts in Santa Monica, Calif. 
 
The Lions will host their first tournament 3-3 on the season and coming off of a 4-1 loss against No. 5 USC. 
 
Darby Dunn and Megan Rice were able to put a point on the board for the Lions against the Trojans, as the doubles tandem won on court two. 
 
The Lions will host No. 10 Stetson University, University of No. 15 South Carolina and No. 14 Long Beach State University. 
 
The Lions met with the then No. 10 Stetson last season, the Lions fell 4-1. Long Beach State University was No. 8 when the Lions met with them, LMU fell 3-2. This will be the first time in program history the Lions have taken on South Carolina. 
 
The invitational will start at 10:00 AM with a match between Stetson and South Carolina. The Lions will play their first match against Long Beach State at 11:00 AM, and will then take on South Carolina at 12:30. 
 
Long Beach State will play a match against Stetson, and then the Lions will conclude the day with a match against Stetson. 
 
The LMU Invitational will take place at Ocean Park Courts in Santa Monica, Calif.
