SAN LUIS OBISPO – The Loyola Marymount University beach volleyball team split on its day of play in San Luis Obispo, as the Lions beat No. 6 Pepperdine 3-2, and fell to No. 8 Cal Poly 3-2. The Lions's win over rival Pepperdine marks the third straight win over the Waves.
