GCC Release
ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Golden Coast Conference has announced that LMU transfer
Kelsey Snelgar has been named GCC Player of the Week for her performance at last weekend's Barbara Kalbus Invitational hosted by UC Irvine.
Snelgar led the Lions to a 2-2 record and two upset wins over higher-ranked teams in this weekend's Barbara Kalbus Invitational hosted by UC Irvine to earn GCC Player of the Week honors for Feb. 27. Snelgar led LMU with 11 goals, 14 points, and four steals over the weekend. Snelgar's 11 goals were tied for third overall in the field, and her 14 points were tied for fifth overall on the weekend. The then-No. 16 Lions defeated No. 12 Long Beach State and No. 13 San Jose State to place 11th. The Lions were rewarded in the polls with a jump from No. 16 to No. 12 this week.

On Feb. 13, LMU goalie
