ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Golden Coast Conference has announced that LMU goalie
Elizabeth Bradley has been named GCC Player of the Week for her performance at last weekend's Triton Invitational.
Bradley was instrumental in helping lead the Lions to three victories and a ninth-place finish at UC San Diego's Triton Invitational, earning GCC Player of the Week honors for Feb. 13. She finished the weekend with 43 saves, including 10 in the win over then No. 9 UC Davis. She added 12 against No. 12 Long Beach State and 12 more in the win over San Diego State. She had nine saves in the win over Villanova. Bradley allowed no more than eight goals in any game, and averaged 7.00 GAA in four games.
Following the weekend, the Lions moved up one spot in the Collegiate Water Polo Association National Coaches' Poll. LMU is now tied for 15
th nationally with Indiana University.
Bradley is LMU's first GCC Player of the Week selection through the first four weeks of the 2020 season.
The Lions will not compete this week, and resume play at the UC Irvine Invitational on Feb. 21-23.
