FINAL RESULTS
 
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The LMU men's golf team shot a 284-285-285—854 to earn a top-5 finish for the first time this season. The Lions placed fourth overall in the field of 19, and were led by the first career runner-up finish from Gavin Cohen.
 
"I'm happy to see Gav play well and have a great finish," said Head Coach Jason D'Amore. "We are disappointed with our finish but will use this experience as momentum going forward."
 
The Lions were one of four teams to shoot 10-under par or better, and finished the tournament five strokes out of first place.
 
Cohen lowered his round totals each day, finishing at 71-68-67—206, a new career-best with the Lions. This is Cohen's first second-place finish, as he tied with Loyola Maryland's Evan Brown (68-72-66—206). Roberto Nieves of Delaware won the tournament by a stroke at 67-71-67—206.
 
Also recording a new career-low, Samuel Su tied for 17^th with his 71-72-72—215. Su improved his previous 54-hole low by three strokes, which he set as a freshman.
 
Cameron Meeks tied for 20^th with his 70-73-73—216 to also finish in the top-20 of the 112-player field.
 
Mason Glinski (72-74-73—219) and Justin Egelske (82-72-73—227) each shot 73s on Monday to close out the tournament.
 
Competing as an individual, and in his first collegiate tournament, freshman Brendan Gonzalez tied for 15^thoverall. Gonzalez's 72-72-70—214 led all 17 individual players.
 
The Lions will next compete at the Lamkin Grips SD Classic from Mar. 9-10.
