CSCAA Release
 
The Loyola Marymount University Lions women's swimming team was recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association by being named to its Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2019 semester. 
 
The CSCAA selected a record 762 programs from 480 institutions, highlighted by the Lions 3.63 GPA. LMU's fall semester GPA ranked 24^thamong all Division I swimming programs nationwide and was No. 1 in California.
 
Over sixty percent of the selections (470 teams) belong to women's programs. "The CSCAA Scholar All-America list is a great marker for academic success and provides a benchmark for teams to strive for," explained South Carolina Head Coach and Member, CSCAA Board of Directors. 
 
The Lions return to the pool for the Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Championships February 12^th– 15^that East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, California.
