The Loyola Marymount men's and women's cross country program will host the West Coast Conference Championships, for the first time under head coach Scott Guerrero, on November 1^stat Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys, California.
 
"This year we're looking forward to hosting the West Coast Conference Championships for the first time ever and we expect a strong turnout from our local alumni and fans on Friday, November 1^stin Van Nuys," said Guerrero.
 
The Lions men's and women's cross country teams finished sixth and fourth respectively at the WCC Championships last year. The men tallied 158 points while the women notched 115 points in a championship that featured two nationally ranked opponents for both the men and women as well as six men's and three women's regionally ranked teams. Both Lions teams are looking to build on last year's marks as they head into the upcoming championships.
