LOS ANGELES – The Golden Coast Conference has named its 2019 All-Academic team, the conference announced Monday. Loyola Marymount women's water polo is well represented on the team, with 11 Lions earning recognition.
 
The Lions named to the All-Academic team include Reagan Denny, Abbey Grosse, Katie Hungerford, Morgan Molloy, Melyssa Moore, Megan Plank, Alena Sanchez, Hana Vilanova, Mollie Williams, Serena Zafiris, Julie Zanobini.
 
LMU has had double-digit athletes honored on the GCC All-Academic team in each of the last four years.
 
In order to receive recognition, the athletes must be a full-time student and have completed two terms. They must have played in more than 50% of their team's games and hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA. In total, 88 GCC student-athletes were recognized.
