2019 Incoming Volleyball Class Ranked No. 23 in the Nation

LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount volleyball team prepares for its 2019 fall season with the No. 23 recruiting class in the nation, announced by prepvolleyball.com. 
 
"We are excited to get this recruiting class on campus and acclimated to our group and our culture, said head coach Aaron Mansfield. "When I took over at LMU two years ago, we put most of our recruiting time and effort into this class and it paid off big time. Ben and Natalie did a tremendous job identifying the right people that would help build what we think is possible here are LMU"
 
The Lions No. 23 ranking is the highest ranked class in program history. LMU welcomes seven newcomers to the roster, including outside hitters Rose Booth, Audrey Klemp, Piper Manross, Olivia Personeni, libero Mary Shroll, middle blocker Emmelyn Walters and defensive specialist/libero Ariana Warren. 
 
Klemp was the 2018-19 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, while Booth was the 2018-19 Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year. The Lions boast a versatile 2019 incoming class, as all seven athletes have excelled on the court. 
 
The 2019 class will be joining an impressive Lion squad, as the team made its 14thNCAA appearance and advanced to the second round. The Lions graduate two impactful seniors, but will return 13 players.
