LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount beach volleyball team (17-7) will take a quick road trip to Westwood to take on No. 1 UCLA for the second time this season, which will be featured on Pac-12 Networks.
LMU is looking to bounce back against the No. 1 Bruins, as they defeated the Lions 5-0 in their last meeting.
The Lions will be coming off of an undefeated weekend at the Santa Cruz WCC Mid-Season Invitational, where LMU swept Portland, Pacific and Santa Clara 5-0, and beat No. 18 Saint Mary's, earning the first-place victory at the invitational.
Sara Kovac and
Jessie Prichard have led the Lions all season from the No. 3 spot, as they boast a 22-2 record, while
Savannah Slattery and
Reka Orsi Toth have been holding down the No. 1 position and are 18-6 on the season.
The Lions will start the match against the undefeated Bruins at noon. Two courts will be played on at a time. This will be the second match this season that will be broadcasted on Pac-12 Networks.
