LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount doubles tandem of
Nick Borchenko and
Diego Nava received a No. 41 doubles ranking by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Borchenko and Nava's ranking is the highest in LMU men's tennis history for doubles play. The tandem has an undefeated 5-0 record, while Nava has an undefeated 6-0 record, as he paired up with
Ethan Prost in the Lions' match against UNC Wilmington.
The pair picked up a win over TCU's now ranked No. 18 tandem of Bertus Kruger and Reese Stalder 6-3.
Lukas Moenter holds down the No. 1 spot in singles play and is ranked No. 125. The senior picked up a ranked win earlier in the season against New Mexico's No. 35 Ricky Hernandez Tong. Moenter is 3-2 on the season.
Borchenko, Nava and Moenter will be back on the courts with the rest of the Lion squad on Saturday to take on UC Santa Barbara on the road.
