LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount beach volleyball team (8-6) is set two play in two matches on Wednesday, as it will take on Cal State Northridge and Colorado Mesa.
 
LMU maintains its No. 13 ranking this week and will head into Wednesday' matches coming off of two sweeps over the weekend, as the team swept Missouri State and Concordia University  5-0. The doubles tandem of Sarah Kovac and Jessie Prichard are 13-1 on the season at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. 
 
The Lions picked up one loss over the weekend, as they fell to No. 7 Cal Poly, giving them a 1-1 record on the season against the Mustangs.
 
This will be the second time this season the Lions have met with CSUN, in their last meeting, the Lions swept the Matadors 5-0 in Northridge, Calif. 
 
The Lions will play their first match at 11:00 a.m. against CSUN, and will then pick back up at noon to take on Colorado Mesa University.
