LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- The Loyola Marymount beach volleyball team is set to head up the road to compete against No. 7 Cal Poly and No. 20 Texas Christian University in Malibu, Calif at the Waves Invite, hosted by Pepperdine. 
 
The Lions will be looking to bounce back after they lost both of their matches last, as the team fell to Stetson University 4-1 and No. 8 Long Beach State 3-2. The Lions' loss dropped the team from No. 12 to No. 13. 
 
Jessie Prichard and Sara Kovac remain undefeated on the season, as they are 8-0 at the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. 
 
The Lions last took on Cal Poly in 2018, where they fell to the then ranked No. 6 Mustangs 3-2., while the team last took on TCU in 2017, where they fell 4-1.
 
LMU will take on Cal Poly at noon and then pick back up at 2:00 PM to take on TCU. The matched will be streamed.
