Aaron Mansfield has announced that Mary Shroll has signed her National Letter of intent to play indoor and beach volleyball with the Lions starting in the fall.
"We couldn't be more excited to announce the addition of Mary to both our indoor and beach programs," said Mansfield. "Mary is an outstanding all-around player that has an incredible work ethic that will lead her to success both in the classroom and our volleyball program."
Shroll comes to LMU from Tempe, Ariz., where she is a four-year letter winner at Tempe Preparatory Academy and Corona del Sol High School and ranked as high as No. 5 in the state of Arizona. The outside hitter compiled a total of 1830 career kills, 152 total blocks and 1432 digs.
Shroll was nominated as High School Girls Volleyball Player of the Year by azcentral in 2018 and led her team to a 29-14 season.
Standing at 5'8", Shroll will start her first season as a Lion with the volleyball team in the fall, with beach volleyball to follow in the spring.
