LOS ANGELES, Calif., -- Loyola Marymount softball players senior Hannah Bandimere and junior Samantha Manti had a dominating weekend at the Cal State Fullerton Titan Classic, as both pitchers went 2-0 on the weekend, leading to the Lions' 4-0 sweep. 
 
Bandimere pitched a total of 12.2 innings across four games with a 0 ERA, while Manti pitched a total of 11 innings and had a 0 ERA on the weekend. 
 
Utah State
Bandimere pitched 6.2 scoreless innings with only three hits and six strikeouts, earning her first win of the season, leading the Lions to a 3-2 win over the Aggies. 
 
Idaho State 
Manti had a two-hit complete game shutout with nine strikeouts against Idaho State to get her first win as a Lion. LMU swept Bengals 1-0. 
 
Northwestern 
Bandimere pitched three innings with just one unearned run and had two hits and six strikeouts, while Manti got three strikeouts and no hits in 1.1 innings and grabber her second win of the season. The Lions snapped Northwestern's season opening streak of 19.1 scoreless innings. This marks LMU's first win against Northwestern since 2013. 
 
Buffalo 
Bandimere pitched 3.0 scoreless innings with just one hit and two strikeouts, earning her second win of the season. Manti pitched 2.2 innings, allowing one run and had one hit and three strikeouts. The Lions beat Buffalo 2-1 to close out the tournament. 
 
The pitchers led the Lions to their first 4-0 start since 2016. The team is currently the only undefeated team in the West Coast Conference.  
 
Bandimere, Manti and the rest of the Lion squad will be back on the field to host Ole Miss on Thursday at 2 p.m.
