LOS ANGELES - LMU men's basketball (5-7) will be returning to Gersten Pavilion for the final two games of the decade, beginning with Sunday's 1:00 p.m. game against Cal State Fullerton (3-9).
The Titans are in a six-game losing streak, after opening the season at 3-3. Cal State Fullerton has had difficulty scoring the basketball this season. The Titans average 61.1 points per game, which ranks 333 of 350 ranked Division I teams. Fullerton has yet to hit 70 points this season against a Division I opponent. LMU is allowing 69.0 points per game to opponents this season.
Despite the poor shooting night on Thursday, LMU still holds a top-10 field goal percentage mark this season. The Lions shoot 50.6 percent from the field this season, which ranks eighth in the country.
Every single LMU player shoots at 40 percent or better from the field this season, with five of the 12 hitting over 50 percent of their shots.
Seikou Sisoho Jawara is leading the team with 67.7 percent (21-for-31) mark, but
Eli Scott's 56.6 percent (73-for-129) ranks 54th nationally of qualifying players (Minimum five made field goals per game).
The two teams have met each of the last two seasons, with each road team earning a victory on their opponent's court. Cal State Fullerton is winless against the West Coast Conference in five games this season. LMU's only Big West Conference opponent so far was at UC Davis earlier this week.
